Our Story
Equal Group was founded in 2020 with a simple yet powerful vision: to bridge the gap between ambitious construction projects and skilled craftsmanship. Our founders, experienced tradespeople who had worked across commercial and residential sectors, recognised the need for a subcontracting partner that could deliver both quality and reliability using our own in-house teams.
Starting with just three team members and a commitment to excellence, we began taking on small commercial fit-out projects. Our attention to detail and collaborative approach quickly earned us recognition among main contractors and developers who valued partners they could trust.
In 2025 we have grown to more than 18 in-house employees including a qualified Estimator and Health and Safety Practitioner who is an integral part of our team.
Project delivery still encompasses on-site delivery from our Directors, Licensed Builders, Qualified Carpenters and BCITO registered Apprentices
